HOOOOOOO BOY this was a lot of work lmao, so i got into LGTS this past christmas and after making a playlist inspired by it for myself, i figured i'd make a video of it paired with original fanart!

I'm aware there's a high risk of the video getting taken down for copyright (what i'm doing mostly is just seeing what i can get away with under yt's Ceaselessly Watching Eye and maybe if it goes well i can make more playlist/art videos?? no biggie if it doesn't work out, just testing the waters ig) SO! i'm putting the art on its own on tumblr jic i can't keep the video up. the art is the most important part to share anyways right?

And to top it all off, Aziel is a snake, as in the Serpent of the Garden of Adam and Eve, a biblical story.

I wonder if…

✨… the demons had a favorite girl for Elise✨

Rozenmarine is obviously Ozzy’s, since he spent most of his time with her as Flocke — he even was present in one of the dates, I recall.

Now, Freya could be Murim’s. Even if her dream is to become a seamstress and open a shop in Primeldorf, her apron still shows motifs related to farming and birds; meanwhile, Murim has a wheat field in his grove, his human form resembles a farmer or a scarecrow, and he claims to be ruler of all things feathered. We also can’t forget about the windmills: Freya’s favorite spot is by the old windmill and you need to go to the new one to prepare the Tender Flesh.

Although I admit that I haven’t played through Lebkuchen’s route yet, I’m confident that she is Aziel’s favorite: in the evenings, you find her under a ray of moonlight, but not only that, if you check Kieferberg’s fountain, Elise will comment she used to play on it with Lebkuchen; which is funny, since Aziel is associated with the moon phases and water, and takes over the church in her boss fight. The monsters in Aziel’s grove have some resemblance to the nun as well, wearing similar veils to the sugary devotee.

However, not sure if such connections are due to favoritisms in the demons’ side, or to highlight that, deep down, Elise is very similar to Ozzy. After all, Aziel is not the only one who points this out…

Sometimes I feel like we were robbed of an ending where Elise becomes a demon and sets fire to Kieferberg — some of the villagers would have it coming…

Guys, I have a theory!

I was rewatching some of the endings of LGTS (like the normal person I am) and I noticed something...

At the carriage sent by Roman Die Heilige (Elise's husband), there's a symbol at the top. Ozzy's symbol.

My first thought would be that it could be an hallucination, but nothing indicates that. Besides, the castle is heavily represented in his domain.

It could be linked to Elise's wish, but that itself doesn't explain why it's painted with Aziel and Murim in front of it on the big painting at the room before the end of the game.

My theory is that the Die Heilige family already worked for Ozzy and his marquis before. Probably not Roman himself, but someone in the family, and their deal were very important for them to gain more power or more influence at the region.

Know what I’mma just tell ya’ll about this random AU I have, and have gone into way too much detail than originally planned

So this AU i have is basically LGTS x CoTL, and really this just came up randomly in my head like a year or 2 ago, and it just never left which led me to making a whole thing about it.I even have a bit of a story outlined for it, and ideas for what could or can happen in this AU, and how to incorporate the storylines and game mechanics of both games into one AU, and there are 3 versions of how it could go, but I’m sticking to 1 for now.

Now to go into a bit of detail

First off, it’ll be the lgts characters in a more CoTL-like universe, and just to get the some of the roles out of the way:

Elise-The cult leader/vessel

Rozenmarine-Guide/Tarot cards

Walpurga-Shamura but kinda like Narinder and is the main god worshiped

Ozzy-Like Narinder with giving Elise the crown, only known by few

Murim-Leshy, only known by few

Aziel-Kalamar, only known by few

Secondly species:

Elise-Mix between a deer and a goat, seen as unnatural, first and probably last of her kind

Rozenmarine-Sheep, probably last of her kind as sheep are commonly sacrificed

Freya-German Shepherd, could be changed to a horse or bear

Lebkuchen-English Lop Rabbit, could be changed to a dove

Walpurga-Deer with more moth-like qualities and can do that opening face thing Nari does

pretty obvious what Ozzy and the marquises are: Goat, Crow, and Snake

That’ll be it for the more prominent characters, already have ideas for some of the townsfolk as well and will to a whole thing on that as well

Finally some notes for this version:

Don’t have a concert way of how Elise meets Ozzy for this ver.but it’ll have something to do with Rozenmarine

The day is split up just like how it is in both games, and the witching hour will serve as a time for crusades, and of course there’ll be time management as well at least for Elise cause she’ll still need to work for the townsfolk to avoid suspension and have enough time to look after the cult so they don’t die or lose faith and that gets harder as the cult grows cause more people to look after, but she won’t have too work as often with the money rolling in from the cult

The townsfolk don’t know about Rozenmarine as if they did she would probably get killed or something, and of course both Freya and Leb don’t know what Elise is doing but will find out later on and eventually meet Rozenmarine as well

Food will also be more of a concern for Elise, as she gotta sustain her body from all the work she’s doing and from the changes her body will be going through as she is a child born between two gods and has a way of becoming a god herself so it’ll be a lot to work through
